We are so excited to share a huge life update with you: we are moving from Minnesota to Anchorage, Alaska! This move is the start of a new adventure for our little family AND for our business. Alongside this big life moment, we are launching our very own YouTube channel to document this adventure north. After over a year of planning and creating, we can’t wait to bring you along as we drive through parts of the US, Canada and Alaska with our jeep, a small trailer, and our beloved Shetland Sheepdog, Bucket (the real star of the show if we're being honest).
Why Alaska? Why Now?
Choosing Alaska wasn’t a spur-of-the-moment decision. For years, the idea of living closer to nature’s raw beauty and embracing a lifestyle of subsistence living and adventure has pulled at our heartstrings. Minnesota has been home, but Alaska offers vast wilderness and a pace that invites reflection and creativity. We want to immerse ourselves in this environment and share the experience with you through our art.
Our goal is to expand into more authentic versions of ourselves by focusing on our creativity and embracing what makes us feel the greatest sense of vitality.
What to Expect on Our YouTube Channel
Our channel will be a mix of storytelling, creativity & travel content. UNRELATED bloomed as our way of bridiging all of the seemingly unrelated passions that we hold. We're excited to see what it grows into the more we invest in these creative endeavors.

Past camping trip videos: We will be releasing some content we've created throughout the year so you can get to know us.
Our Journey North: Follow us as we drive our jeep and trailer across the northern states, capturing the landscapes and quirky roadside stops.
Life with our Shetland Sheepdog: Our furry companion is part of the family and will feature in many videos, showing how pets adapt to new environments and wilderness adventures.
Alaska living: We’ll share what we learn about thriving in this unique place. Expect plenty of footage of Alaska’s stunning wildlife and natural beauty, captured with care and respect.
Creative projects and business updates: Our business is growing alongside our move, and we’ll share behind-the-scenes looks at how we balance work, creativity and adventure.
Wellness & Reflection: Embracing the unknown and leaning into discomfort. We may share what it looks or feels like for us to take care of our minds, bodies and souls as we navigate all of the above.
